Family Ministry at St. Paul’s offers many opportunities for community, fun, and study for all ages!
In addition to community events offered throughout the year like beach bonfires, Women’s Retreat (and more), St. Paul’s also offers the various groups listed below:

Kids’ Ministry

Sundays during 10am service

The 10am service features interactive worship opportunities for families. Families begin worship together in the Sanctuary which features a special message aimed for children. Kids are dismissed during the sermon to their own interactive faith-building experience with our Director of Family Community and wonderful volunteers.

CLUB 345

Second Fridays | School Gym | 3-4:30pm

Youth group for kids in the third, fourth, and fifth grades where kids learn about the amazing gift of faith they have in Jesus through high-energy games and hands-on Bible studies.

Foundations of Faith Confirmation Ministry

Learn more about our new ALL AGES Confirmation Program on Wedensday, September 17th @ 5:00pm in the Sanctuary. Foundations of Faith digs into Scripture and the Catechism over 5 units. Each unit is uniquely created for various ages, Preschool through High School. This isn’t just a program. It’s the start of a lifelong adventure with Jesus! Questions? Middle School Youth Group

3rd Monday of every month | School Gym | 6:30-8pm

A place where middle school youth hang out with friends, play games, and see how God’s Word applies to their life!

High School Youth Group

A place where high school youth hang out with friends, have fun, and explore how God is at work in their lives and the world around them!

"Anchored" Ministry

Monthly | Various Locations

“Anchored” is a group of adults in their mid 20’s to mid 30’s who gather for fellowship and study to remain anchored in God’s Word at restaurants and breweries around San Diego. Contact the office for this month’s event.

Women’s Bible Study

2nd & 4th Wednesdays | Fireside Room | 10-11:30am

St. Paul’s women explore a devotional book each fall and study of book of the Bible each spring!

Men’s Breakfast & Study

Saturdays | Broken Yolk Café | 8am

St. Paul’s men meet for breakfast and the Word at the Broken Yolk Café (1851 Garnet Ave).

Adult Bible Study

Sundays | Fireside Room | 10-11am

The Adult Bible Study group meets weekly for a time in the Word, discussion, and prayer. Adult Bible Study meets Sundays from 10:00–11:00am in the Fireside Room

Dear Friends of St. Paul’s Lutheran School,

We regret that we will be pausing this special educational ministry for the upcoming school year. We are hopeful that by God’s grace we can reopen as soon as possible. We ask for your continued prayers as we explore how to do so, as we fully intend to again offer a quality Christ-centered, premier academic program of instruction.

Our wonderful Preschool remains open and our great staff for that age group welcomes the opportunity to serve you! Our preschool program serves children ages 2-5 years old and continues its own 39 years in the Pacific Beach community this school year, starting August 10. Enrollment is always open!
