That may seem like a traditional name for a modern church, but it remains as meaningful as ever. Maybe your experience of church revolves around changed behavior: observing the rituals or becoming a better person. Perhaps your experience of God left you with unanswered questions: Why is there so much suffering? What’s the plan for my life?
Nearly 2,000 years ago, a man named Paul had those same experiences, believing that he could be good enough to please God or that His will was too mysterious to understand. His encounter with God and the faith he received changed everything. It does the same for people today…it will do the same for you. Paul was inspired to write: “I am convinced that nothing will separate us from the love of God…” “For by grace you have been saved, through faith, and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not the result of works…” God “is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine…”
That’s the St. Paul’s experience we want for you. In a world filled with bad news, this is a church in which you will hear good news every week about the meaningful things God is doing in your life.
This not only means that we share the Gospel message of Jesus in our homes, neighborhoods, and workplaces, but that we see Jesus at work in these places and desire to highlight all that He does. At St. Paul’s we witness Christ’s love through the various missions and communities we serve.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Cornerstone of our community.
