St. Paul’s is located in the heart of Pacific Beach, north of Garnet Ave and a few blocks from the coastline, easily accessible by the 5 or 8 freeways.

Parking

Parking in our lot is reserved for guests and for worshippers who would benefit from being a bit closer to the entrance, whether to help with mobility or to make it easier to unload small children. Wells Fargo Bank on Garnet Ave and Fanuel Street allows guests to park in their lot on Sunday mornings. Ample parking can also be found along neighborhood streets.

Children's Church

Sundays during 9:00 am service

The 9:00 am service features interactive worship opportunities for families. Families begin worship together in the Sanctuary which features a special message aimed for children. Kids are dismissed during the sermon to their own interactive faith-building experience with our Director of Family Community and wonderful volunteers.

Nursery Care

Sundays | Preschool 1 Room

Nursery care is provided for children under the age of 5 during the 9:00 am service. St. Paul’s also has a Family Room located near the sanctuary entrance with comfortable seating, a changing table, and nursery-age activities where parents can stay connected to the service and kids can have a quiet place to take a break.

Adult Bible Study

Sundays | Fireside Room | 10:30am

The Adult Bible Study group meets weekly for a time in the Word, discussion, and prayer.

Music Ministry

Student and adult choirs, student handbells, guest musicians, and individual vocalists regularly share their musical gifts in praise to God and help lead worship. Adult choir always welcomes new members and practices each Thursday at 7:30pm. Prayer Ministry

St. Paul’s has a vibrant prayer ministry. We welcome prayer requests to be included in Sunday worship, printed in the weekly newsletter, and/or added to our emailed prayer chain. An elder is always avaiable in the front of the Sanctuary after worship if anyone has need of payer. Additionally, anyone is welcome to make an appointment with one of our pastors for prayer as well. If you would like to submit a prayer request, make an appoitment to meet with one of our pastors, or be added to the emailed prayer chain, please contact the church office.

Family Room Amenities

Understanding that families with young children may need a comfortable space, St. Paul's Lutheran Church offers a dedicated Family Room. This room is located conveniently near the sanctuary entrance, allowing parents to remain connected to the worship service while providing a more relaxed environment for their children.

The Family Room is equipped with comfortable seating, a changing table for infants and toddlers, and age-appropriate activities. This thoughtful provision ensures that parents can attend services without worry, knowing their children have a quiet and engaging space to be in, fostering a sense of peace for the entire family.

Children's Ministry Programs
