Our private Preschool is a ministry of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Pacific Beach where we believe that providing a warm, loving, Christ-centered environment enriches the opportunities for a child to develop physically, emotionally, socially, creatively, intellectually, and spiritually. We believe that this is accomplished through: activities in an age-appropriate environment, a well-qualified and trained staff, connections with our school, church and community, and a developing relationship with our Savior, Jesus. This year we will strive to “Be Strong in the Lord” based in Ephesians 6:10. We will put on the full “Armor of God” as we face challenges, learn Biblical truths and serve others. We will be striving to serve each other and the community that surrounds St. Paul’s in the name and for the sake of Jesus. Each month will explore the Bible stories that develop a strong faith for our life.

We operate from the beginning of August until the end of June (an 11-month school year). We are currently open from 8:00 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday- Friday. We admit children who are 2 years old (we accept children in pull ups in our Pre 1 class- ages 2-3) until they are ready for kindergarten. We have three age groups- Preschool 1 (2-3 yr olds), Preschool 2 (3-4 yr olds) and Junior Kindergarten (4-5 yr olds). We offer a 2, 3 or 5 days/week schedule as well as a choice of hours: half day (8-12), school day (8-3) or all day (8:00-5).
