Preschool and Junior Kindergarten Class Enrollment Policies
- Parents will read and support the statements and procedures as stated in the Parent Handbook.
- Parents will support the Christian instruction given to the children by the staff. Parents will support participation in extra activities such as Advent Services, Celebration of the Arts, and All School Picnic which children are encouraged to participate in. These occur after school hours or off site.
- Proof of age and all health requirements will be met, as required by the State of California and Community Care Licensing, by the first day of enrollment.
- Re-enrollment will occur only when all financial fees and charges are paid by June 30th.
Preschool and Junior Kindergarten Class Enrollment Procedures
- Age Requirements:
- Preschool 1 Classroom: Children should be 2 years old when they start attending. This class allows children who wear diapers or pull ups or are in the process of potty training. There is an additional monthly fee for children who are not completely potty trained.
- Preschool 2 Classroom: Children must be 3 years old by September 1 of the current school year to enroll in this class. Those who are age 3 and not yet completely potty trained will be charged an additional monthly fee until potty training is complete.
- Junior Kindergarten Classroom: Children must be 4 years old by September 1 of the current school year and completely potty trained- no pull ups.
- Admissions Process:
- Prospective families will meet with the Admissions Counselor and/or Preschool Director to tour facility, determine schedule/enrollment availability and acquire an enrollment paperwork packet.
- To reserve a child’s place in our program the parent/guardian must submit a completed Preschool Application/Registration form (2 sided) and pay the commitment/registration fees. (these fees are non-refundable)
- Acceptance into the program will depend on availability of space and our program’s ability to meet a child’s learning needs.
- Upon acceptance, parent/guardian will complete the paperwork packet for enrollment and pay all registration/tuition fees prior to the first day of enrollment.
- SPECIAL NOTE: Copies of standing court orders regarding custody or visitation rights that clarify parental rights in regard to drop off/pick up or participation of parent in any aspect of our program are required to be submitted for review by the Director BEFORE a child enters our program.
