St. Paul’s is honored to be designated as a California Purple Star School. This recognizes our commitment to supporting military families and their students connected to our school. We have met the criteria for this designation and are proud to provide resources, programs and support tailored to our military connected students.
We strive to go above and beyond to support these families in our school. We know their service requires lots of moves, deployments, lack of family connections due to location and much more. Military Resources
Nicole Rarick, currently serves on our Preschool staff and is our designated military liaison. She is a proud military spouse for the last 18 years. This will be her 8th year as a St. Paul’s staff member. She would be happy to help answer questions and connect you to our school and families for a smooth transition for your child and family.

Financial Assistance:
St. Paul’s provides a military family discount percent applied to tuition. Please see our current tuition scale for information. St. Paul’s Preschool is also an approved MCCYN subsidy provider. Please contact Sharon Haar, the Preschool Director for information to help apply to this program. shaar@stpaulspb.com
Deployments:
Please contact our school office schooloffice@stpaulspb.com to inform us of an upcoming or current deployment. We want to connect and plan with your family so we can best support your children and family in these events.
Military Specific Events:
Veterans Day Chapel: We look forward to honoring our Veterans in a special chapel and breakfast on or near Veterans Day.
November’s “Month of the Military Family”: We support our military families with a special FREE parent night out event
April’s “Month of the Military Child”: We celebrate, honor and support the children of military families by providing a special shirt this month, honor them at chapel and provide notes of encouragement from the staff.
Counseling and Support:
Pastor Nathan Hausch, our Senior Pastor, did chaplain officer basic training and served in the Army National Guard as a Chaplain . Isaac Davis, our Associate Pastor, served in the U.S. Navy for over 20 years. Both of these Pastors are available to connect with you for counseling, guidance and support.
