Accreditation

St. Paul’s Lutheran School has been accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation (NLSA) and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) for the years 1996-2029.

This process was done for the purpose of validating the educational mission, program, goals, and objectives of our Christian school. The purpose of these educational agencies is to:
  • Foster excellence in elementary education.
  • Encourage school improvement through a process of continuous self-study and evaluation.
  • Assure a school and its public that the school has clearly defined and appropriate educational goals and objectives as established conditions under which their achievement can reasonably be expected, appears to be accomplishing them substantially, and can be expected to continue to do so.

St. Paul’s was accredited in 1996, 2003, 2009, 2016, and 2023. Each time, St. Paul’s received a six-year clear accreditation.
For the 2022-2023 accreditation, the school again conducted a thorough self-study, and a WASC/NLSA visitation team was on campus to verify the self-study report in March, 2023 The self-study report and the visitation team report are available in the school office. The WASC and NLSA accrediting commissions granted St. Paul’s a six-year accreditation that is good through 2029.
